Please note that by submitting an abstract for EAVPT2012, you are confirming that if the abstract is accepted, you or one of your co-authors has every intention of attending the 12th EAVPT Congress to be held in Noordwijkerhout, the Netherlands, 8th to 12th of July, 2012.

Authors: Please provide all required information for the presenting author including a valid email address.  A presenter must be selected in order for abstracts to be considered. Please enter all additional authors in the order they should appear in the supplemental issue of the Journal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics. The abstract submission form will guide you through the process of entering the author(s) information, including your preference to present an oral short communication or a poster. Please note that a maximum of 2 oral presentations will be considered for every presenting author (with exceptions for invited speakers) while no limitations are set to the total number of submissions as co-author.

Preparation of the abstract should be rigorous and the abstract checked for errors and accuracy before submission. Please make a proof-print before submission, to avoid submission failures.

Review process

By submitting an abstract, the authors agree to the following review procedure:
Abstracts will be reviewed according to the procedures set for publications in the Journal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, where all accepted abstracts will be published in an electronic supplement to the Journal (volume 35, July 2012). Abstracts found to be lacking in sufficient clarity or scientific content may be rejected or sent back to the authors with suggestions for amendments.
The Scientific Board will allocate abstracts to the different scientific sessions, considering the suggestions as given by the authors regarding the topic. Depending on the numbers of submitted abstracts within a certain category, the scientific boards maintains the right to allocate individual abstracts to a related section when this appears to be necessary to achieve a balanced congress programme. This includes also that the preference of the authors to submit an oral presentation will be considered as much as possible, but the Scientific Board again maintains the right to allocate a submission to a poster session.
Abstract submissions must be completed by 15th of March, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. CET.
